Mechanical
Steel repair, fitting, overhaul and mechanical support for maritime and industrial assignments.
Flying Squad
Our Flying Squad team is ready to mobilise worldwide — with workshop strength behind every on-site assignment.
Who we are
Flying Squad, FSQ, was founded in 2005 by a small group of marine and offshore specialists with varied backgrounds. Today we combine mobile repair teams with an in-house workshop so customers get one practical partner from first contact to completed work.
If you want to plan ahead, do not hesitate to contact FSQ. We assist customers in most places around the world — and prefabricate in our own workshop to keep vessel off-hire to a minimum.
Vision
Our vision is to deliver the best possible solution within the given time and place for our customers, in order to minimise cost without compromising quality, safety or documentation.
Workshop service
In our workshop we fabricate all kinds of required spares in a CNC environment. We work seven days a week, 365 days a year — because when our clients need assistance, it cannot wait.
Skilled engineers work with a wide range of materials — steel, alloys and specialist metals — using CNC, laser cutting and machining capacity in-house.
AutoCAD, CAD/CAM and Mastercam support repair planning, prefabrication and production before mobilisation to the vessel or yard.
Urgent spares, pipe sections and steel components can be prepared while the repair team is mobilising — reducing downtime when every hour counts.
Conversion
FSQ has been involved with ballast water treatment systems (BWTS) and exhaust gas cleaning (scrubber) installation and commissioning on site. We prefabricate in our own workshop and install during service periods to minimise vessel off-hire at the shipyard.
Prefabrication and on-site installation support for maritime conversion projects.
